The team helps the company grow effectively by providing operational accounting solutions that connect process excellence, business and systems initiatives, and quality accounting and internal controls.
Specific focus is on operational controllership of Walmart's subsidiaries around the globe.
We support all aspects of the accounting and reporting process and enable end-to-end process ownership to support our business and finance partners.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Manager II will be responsible for working across Enterprise Business Services, Controllership, business segments, Tax, Treasury, and Tech to improve the effectiveness of accounting operations for Legal entities.
Responsibilities include:
Execution of accounting and controls for separate legal entities and subsidiaries, working closely with stakeholders in tax and EBS.
Month end close procedures.
Partner across our team and with key customers and stakeholders to understand needs, identify root cause of issues, and implement effective solutions.
Lead and participate in projects to implement new initiatives and to improve existing ones.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance,payroll, information systems, or related area OR 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, payroll, information systems, or related area.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
